What do you want out of your pickup truck? In all areas, the 2023 RAM 1500 won’t just meet your expectations, but exceed them. It has outstanding power, tremendous towing ability, and the latest tech and safety features. Get to know this new RAM truck, which has an MSRP of $37,410.

Power and Performance

You’ll get a beefy 3.6-liter V6 with the base RAM 1500 that puts out 305 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. But if you want more muscle, you can go with one of three available engines:

  • 7-liter V8: 395 horsepower and 410 lb-ft of torque
  • 0-liter V6 diesel: 260 horsepower and 480 lb-ft of torque
  • Supercharged 6.2-liter V8: 702 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque

All engines are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, with four-wheel drive as an option. This large RAM pickup has much greater agility than you probably realize, and it handles beautifully. It also has nice off-road ability. In addition to four-wheel drive, you can get skid plates, a locking differential, and an off-road chassis and suspension.

Towing and Hauling

When properly equipped, the RAM 1500 can tow up to 12,560 pounds, and its maximum payload is 2,090 pounds. There are two available bed lengths: 5-foot-7-inch and 6-foot-4-inch. Plus, you can equip the bed in your new RAM truck with a 60/40-split multifunction tailgate, RamBox storage bins, and cargo lights.

Interior

No matter the cab you pick, you’re going to have a spacious interior that accommodates up to six people. Standard features include synthetic leather and cloth upholstery. Heated and ventilated front and back seats, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, and a heated steering wheel are all available.

The RAM 1500 comes with an infotainment system with a five-inch touchscreen, as well as USB ports, Bluetooth®, and push-button start. HD and satellite radio, smartphone connectivity, and wireless device charging are just a few of the available tech features.
