The performance of the 1500 is quite astounding, with an engine that can produce a 395 horsepower rating at up to 5,600 wheel rotations per minute and producing 410 feet-pounds of torque. It also has a fuel economy that generates up to 17 combined miles per gallon, getting 15 mpg on the regular roads and 21 MPGs when on the highway. In addition to this, the Ram has a four-wheel drive with an 8-speed shiftable automatic transmission to keep it running.

The brake system contains a brake drying feature to keep the brakes fresh, as well as emergency braking preparation and ventilated front and rear disc brakes in the event of brake failure or damage being taken. Traction and stability functions have all been improved, and also with this comes a 4-wheel ABS system for improved balance and suspension.
